The Care ministry at Renovate Church exists to provide care to people, both in our congregation and into the community, by offering comfort, truth, grace, and a path to wholeness. We equip staff, volunteer leaders, and group leaders to meet people where they are, and we offer specialized support through our Care ministry team in counseling, benevolence, pastoral care, and prayer.
The Care Ministry of Renovate Church is one of the most important ministries of the church as we live out our core value of authentic community. Much of the New Testament is written, both demonstrating for us and encouraging us, toward the care and nurturing of people inside the walls of the church and those in our community. There are 59 “one another” scriptures in the New Testament. Here are a few of the scriptures that shape our values:

“Pay careful attention to yourselves and to all the flock, in which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers, to care for the church of God, which he obtained with his own blood.” Acts 20:28

“Everyone should look out not only for his own interests, but also for the interests of others.” – Philippians 2:4

“Carry one another’s burdens; in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.” – Galatians 6:2

“Be devoted to one another with mutual love, showing eagerness in honoring one another.” Romans 12:10

“Be hospitable to one another without complaining.” – 1 Peter 4:9

When a loved one passes away, making final preparations amidst grieving can be very difficult. It’s important to have support and a biblical perspective during a time of mourning. If you would like to request a pastor from Renovate Church to help you through this process, please contact our care team leaders.

Navigating big questions and life’s circumstances can be difficult, but you don’t have to do it alone. If you would like to meet with a pastor at our church to work through issues or struggles with someone who can help point you to Jesus and his word, please reach out to us. Our pastors aren’t accredited clinical counselors, but they can help you find answers to questions and problems in God’s word.

As you prepare to make the biggest and most exciting commitment of your life through marriage, it’s important to build the right foundation. If you’re engaged to be married and would like to meet with someone equipped in premarital counseling before saying “I do,” reach out to our care team to find out more information about the process. Pastors may also be available to perform the ceremony once the premarital counseling sessions are complete.
